The best thing about my job is the people I get to work with. Wedding photography is an intimate art, and I love getting to see who people really are as they promise their love to each other.

In Alex and Brynne, I got to experience the most wonderful combination of complete fun, mixed with sincere love, admiration, and deep meaningfulness. They were completely present, aware of the significance of their day, and at the same time joyful and free, so happy in who they are together.

Three weeks before their wedding date, Patrick and Theresa got one of the most shocking calls any couple planning a wedding could get: there had been a fire at their venue, and they would have to find somewhere else to host their big day.

Heather and Jake are such a sweet couple! I loved seeing their tight-knit friends and family cheer them on during their wedding day, and I appreciated how much their day reflected who they are personally.

The ladies got ready at Heather and Jake’s beautiful home, which is surrounded by fields in the Buffalo, NY area. Everyone was busy getting ready, but Heather made sure she got a few pictures with their pup, who was remarkably chill considering all the activity happening around her! :-)

Can I just say how much fun Casey and Ethan were during their engagement session?! Laughter and smiles came so easy for them, and I loved how comfortable they were with each other - and with me! Their care for each other and fun personalities came through so often in their pictures, and I loved seeing their joy come out throughout our session.

Casey and Ethan picked a beautiful fall day to enjoy our engagement session together, and their location in Highland Park is always so beautiful this time of year. Thank you, you two, for choosing me to help you celebrate your relationship, and I can’t wait for your wedding next year!!

Caitlin and Greg have the amazing characteristics of being smart, thoughtful, and refined, as well as being fun and spontaneous - all at the same time! Their day embodied all these qualities, and it was an honor to be part of it.

Caitlin and her ladies got ready at the Salon at the Del Monte in Pittsford, NY. Everyone then moved to the Genesee Valley Club where Caitlin, Greg, and their families held a beautiful gathering. Caitlin’s family has a long history at GVC, and it was a beautiful setting for their wedding. In addition, Caitlin and Greg have a love for all things Disney, and they incorporated these elements throughout their day. You’ll see hidden Mickeys and nods to Beauty and the Beast in their details and decorations.

Adrianna and Mike are such a neat couple. They possess a great combination of caring about what’s important - their promises to each other, and the friends and family surrounding them - and a wonderfully relaxed attitude about everything else. They took changes to the schedule in stride, trusted me as I directed their portrait session, and didn’t seem stressed about anything throughout the day. They even put up with wildly hot and humid weather. They were so wonderful to work with!

Adrianna got ready - with her totally fun bridesmaids! - at the Strathallan Hotel. I loved to hear that Adrianna’s hair stylist was her aunt who had been doing her hair her whole life - she literally gave Adrianna her first haircut! And now she was doing Adrianna’s wedding hair on her wedding day! Imagine how amazing that must have been for them both!
